A place for business, discussions, and unique encounters, PISCINE - the World Swimming Pool Show - will be under the spotlights from 18th to 21st November 2008 at Eurexpo, Lyons (France) Exhibition and Convention Centre. As part of its continuing effort to improve the services offered to its professional visitors, through enhancing visibility and optimising their visiting time, Sepelcom, the organiser, has decided to restructure Piscine 2008 by introducing two new Shows:
- AQUALIE 2008, dedicated to collective aquatic fun and wellbeing facilities,
- WELLGREEN 2008, dedicated to optimising and enhancing outdoor amenities.
Thanks to this new structure, PISCINE 2008 will focus on its core activities i.e. private swimming pools and wellness. AQUALIE will present tailored solutions adapted to public and private collective swimming pools, also for hotels. WELLGREEN is an answer to the current trend for enhancing and optimising the area around the swimming pool. The combination and complementarity of these three shows offers better visibility for visitors (builders, distributors, decision-makers, designers, local authorities…) according to their professions and centres of interest.
PISCINE 2008: ALL YOU NEED FOR DESIGNING AND FITTING PRIVATE SWIMMING POOLS AND SPAS
Within a consolidating market, PISCINE 2008 stands out on the international scene thanks to its high quality offering, both in terms of products and services. PISCINE 2008 is the event for professionals of the swimming pool sector, it will present all the solutions available on the market. From design to execution of private swimming pool and spa projects, the trade show will present all there is to see and to know in order to make the right choices. It will also provide adapted and innovative answers for professionals targeting private users.
In addition to swimming pools, PISCINE 2008 will offer an opportunity to discover, as a premiere, the latest innovations for installing and maintaining Hammams, saunas, solariums and fitness facilities, also safety and maintenance equipment.
In terms of services, a Training/Employment centre will be freely accessible to all visitors, offering advice and information concerning training centres and employment opportunities.
AQUALIE 2008: "READY-TO-USE" PROFESSIONAL SOLUTIONS FOR PUBLIC OR PRIVATE COLLECTIVE AQUATIC FACILITIES
Wellbeing, leisure and relaxation activities centred around water represent a growing trend for public and private collective facilities. As a consequence, AQUALIE will open its doors in parallel to PISCINE 2008 in order to present the new products, innovative equipment, and developments in this sector.
AQUALIE 2008 is the only show with a focus on aquatic-fun spaces and wellbeing. It will present the keys for creating, renovating, and maintaining aquatic-fun facilities, wellbeing centres, and fitness and health centres, with new ideas integrating the environment designed to seduce new clients and ensure customer loyalty.
As an illustration, "Ideal Spa" will be on display during the show, amidst different events and demonstrations. Also, for the first time, a "Renewable Energies Village" will introduce the latest solutions adapted to the swimming pool industry.
Finally, the 10th Conference on Swimming Pools Open to the Public and Aquatic Leisure Centres will be one of the highlights of the show, together with the first European Conference dedicated to Aquatic and Thermal Leisure Spaces Facilities.
WELLGREEN 2008: AMENITIES, SOLUTIONS, DECORATION AND LIGHTNING DESIGNED TO MAKE THE MOST OF LIVING OUTDOORS
Swimming pools (public and private), health centres, and aqua parks also involve outdoor activities. WELLGREEN 2008 aims to become a major event in this respect. Highly innovative, WELLGREEN 2008 will offer a unique panorama of products and accessories for outdoor landscaping and amenities: tiling, wooden decks, furniture, lighting, plant decoration, natural pools and ponds, barbecues…
With the "Lighting Village" and its section dedicated to landscape gardening, WELLGREEN 2008 addresses all trades concerned with enhancing outdoor spaces, combining technical solutions with aesthetics. Inseparable complement to PISCINE and AQUALIE, WELLGREEN focuses on seduction and appeal enhancing outdoor amenities and activities around the swimming pool.
• A UNIQUE PLACE FOR BUSINESS AND ENCOUNTERS
Piscine 2008 offers an exceptional place for professional meetings, as it proposes many new services and events designed to satisfy the requirements of visitors and exhibitors from all over the world. The events are common to the three shows, and are held in a professional and friendly spirit:
- Business meetings: these are a major new feature of the Shows, they aim to facilitate individual business encounters. Thanks to advance planning by the organisers ahead of the Show, exhibitors, decision-makers, and buyers from around the world will be able to optimise their visit by making arrangements for business meetings.
- The International Club: organised in partnership with Classe Export, the International Club aims to bring together professionals of the sector in order to create a unique international network of swimming pool specialists. An Internet website will be available, offering legal information, advice on developing abroad, etc,. along with an "International VIP Club" designed to answer specific queries and requirements, as well as to arrange tailored meetings and appointments.
- "Early Hours": So that exhibitors may have an opportunity to enjoy the event and discover its innovations, the three Shows will open 1½ hours before the official opening time. Exhibitors will also have the opportunity to get to know each other around coffee and croissants.
- "Design Corner": created together with Créapole Paris and Dezinéo, this space will be dedicated to design and esthetics of swimming pool accessories and equipment (i.e.: robots, heat pumps, etc.)
- The resutls of a survey carried out for Piscine 2008 will be presented as a premiere. These will reveal the trends and issues associated with wellbeing from a social and cultural point of view.
